Memorial

Don Harden, 70 of Cedar Rapids, died Monday March 23, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital. Services: 3:00 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories where a visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer will officiate. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Harden, his children; James David Harden of Cedar Rapids, Doug Brian Harden of Winona, Minnesota, Dawn Harden (Varick Wilson) of Inver Grove Hts, Minnesota and Darin (Nichole) Harden of Georgia, his siblings; Sandra (Larry) Nelson of Pierce, South Dakota, Melody Kuehn of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Brad (Lynn) Harden of Helen dale, California, his grandchildren; Dessare, Derek, Madalyn, Jackson and Leah Harden.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Jon Kuehn

Don was born May 11, 1944 in Hawarden, Iowa, the son of Edward and Lois (Rich) Harden. He married Diane Wyatt on April 26, 1969 in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. Don was a mechanical Engineer for Rockwell Collins. He also work for H.R. Block and later for 41 yrs.  Don was a member St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, visiting with people, traveling and spending time with his family. Don also volunteered at Y.M.C.A. camp Wapsie.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
