Bill B. McKibbin, 89, of Cedar Rapids died Sunday March 1, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services with masonic rites at 10:30 AM on Thursday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Rev. Phil Jorgensen will officiate. Burial with military rites at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday.

Survivors include his wife, C. Ramona, a son Mark (Bonnie) of Marion, a daughter Karen (Ken) Kaiser of Cedar Rapids, and a sister Betty of California. He is also survived by three grandchildren Keith, Nathan, Travis and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and sisters and a granddaughter Melissa. 

Bill was born on August 30, 1925 in Nevada, Iowa the son of Cass and Ella Meyers McKibbin. He married C. Ramona Howen on June 21, 1947 in Atchison, Kansas. Bill served in the Navy during WWII and went on an Honor Flight in 2010.
Bill worked in the sliced bacon department at Wilson & Co. and retired from there after more than 25 years of service.
 Bill was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Marion American Legion Post No. 289 and a 50 years member of Mt. Hermon Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed  

Gardening, yard work, playing shuffle board, working puzzles, riding his bike and especially the time spent with his beloved family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
