Margaret Violet Taylor, 94, of Longmont Colorado, formerly, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Peaks Care Center in Longmont, Colorado. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Friends may call one hour before the service on Friday at the chapel. Interment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, John (Theresa) Tremain and Terry Sue (Jeff) Osborn; 7 grandchildren, Christine Watters, William Howard Tremain, Paul Anthony Tremain, Charles Tremain, Tina Adams, Jon Adams and Barry (Joy) Osborn; 11 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, 3 sisters, Betty Ann Sterns, Dorothy Cooley, and Jean Koranda.
Margaret Taylor was born December 14, 1920, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Frank and Opal (Barnett) Borst. Margaret graduated from Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids. She was united in marriage to Howard (Bud) Tremain on July 3, 1940 in Cedar Rapids. He passed away in 1975. Her second husband was Lloyd Taylor. He preceded her in death in 2003. Margaret enjoyed flowers, family picnics, holidays, cross word puzzles, and especially spending time with her family. She was a member of the Eastern Star and ABWA. Margaret will always be remembered for being a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
