James Loren Buresh, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Iowa City. Graveside Service at a later date at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Rose of Cedar Rapids; siblings; John Buresh of Cedar Rapids, Jerry (Terry) Buresh of St. Charles, MO, Diana Buresh of Cedar Rapids, Dorothea Buresh of Cedar Rapids, Joseph Buresh of Cedar Rapids, Denese Gordon of Nashville, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

James was born November 12, 1960, the son of Kenneth and Mary Rose (Carver) in Cedar Rapids. He had an avid love for the outdoors and for working on mechanics. James served in the United States Army for many years. He served his time in Desert Storm, helping with the cleanup. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
