Caroline Jene Stahr, 86, originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday July 15, 2015 in Park Ridge Nursing & Rehab in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 18, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, services will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Rev. James Coyle will officiate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a sister, Marie O’Neal of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a daughter, Robby (Al) Jones of Des Moines, Iowa, daughter-in-law, Trudy Stahr of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a son-in-law, Larry Heggebo Sr. of Waterloo, Iowa. Also surviving are grandchildren; Travis (Jackie) Jones, Brenda Jones, Leland Stahr, Joe Stahr, Larry Heggebo, Brad (Trisha) Heggebo and Tracy Heggebo, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry Junior Stahr, her son, Butch Stahr and a daughter, Lavinia Heggebo.
Caroline was born February 8, 1929 in Middlefield, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Bergstrom) Patterson. She married Henry Junior Stahr on June 29, 1946 in Spokane, Washington.
