Dolores M. Pine, 91, of Marion, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids.

A funeral service celebrating Dolores’s life will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Zachary Johnson     officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her daughter, Marsha (Wayne) Rasmussen of Marion; son, Jim Pine of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Aaron (Megan) Snyder of Maple Grove, MN, Kyle (Jessica) Snyder of Cedar Rapids and Bryce Rasmussen of Ft. Dodge, IA; great grandsons, Owen, Oliver and William.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Pine in 1984 and all of her siblings.

Dolores M. Wold was born May 10, 1923 in rural Clayton, Co., Iowa the daughter of John and Mary (Rierson) Wold. On September 4, 1943, she married Robert Proctor Pine in Port Orchard, Washington. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
