She was confirmed at Zoar Church in Newton, IA in 1962 and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For several years, Linda worked in the nursing field, before becoming a Director of Nursing. She eventually went on to teach college courses in nursing. Linda was an avid Hawkeye fan and attended many games at Kinnick Stadium. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and learning new things. Linda had a big heart when it came to animals and especially her pets. She also had a great eye for antiques, and could spend hours shopping around flea markets with her daughter. Her greatest passion in life was children. Linda loved being a mother and grandmother. Her graceful soul and gentle heart is what made her excellent at motherhood. More than anything, she loved being with her family.
