John C. (Jack) Albert, 81, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home on Monday, August 10, 2015. Graveside services will be 9:30am Friday, August 14, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral services will follow at Christ Church Presbyterian at 11:00am. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, from 4-7pm at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Jack was born in rural Ladora, Iowa to the late Roy and Margaret Albert on July 1, 1934. He graduated from Marengo High School in 1953. Jack retired in 1999 from Gary’s Foods in Mt. Vernon.
He is survived by his wife Judi, son: James (Kim) Albert; stepdaughters: Tamara Kruger, Lori (Jim) Bristow, Dawna Langan; stepson David Kennedy; brother: Dave (Denise) Albert; sister: Cynthia Peska; 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and close friends Rick and Kay Carson.
