Irene E. Clark, 100, died August 27, 2015 at the Waterford Assisted Living facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was formerly a longtime resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 starting at 2pm at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with visitation beginning one hour prior at 1pm.

Irene was born February 26, 1915 in Harrison County Missouri. She and her late husband Vernon N. Clark were married for 57 years prior to his death in 1992. She was preceded by her parents, three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen L. Harford and her husband James of Lincoln, Nebraska; son, David Clark and his wife Mary Lue, of Arkansas; grandchildren, Kevin (Sonia) Harford & Jeffrey (Denise) Harford of Lincoln, Nebraska; Michael (Lana) Clark & Kimberli Clark of Zion, Illinois; six great grandchildren, Lauren, Kallie, Michaela and Anna Harford of Lincoln, Nebraska, Geoffrey Clark of Zion, Illinois and Katherine Clark of St. Augustine, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

Irene was a humble and faithful servant of God throughout her life and was noted for her kindness, compassionate care and prayers for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and many others.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she will be buried.
