Memorial

Grace Marie Daniels, 95, of Amana, died Wednesday August 26, 2015 in Amana Colonial Manor. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Ludmila Catholic Church, where a visitation will begin at 9:30. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her children; Larry (Marilyn) Schulte, Don (Sharon) Schulte, Karen (David) Holze, David Schulte and Steve Schulte. Also surviving is 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren-and two on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter-in-law, Nancy Schulte., her brother, Gilbert (Emily) Van Antwerp and sister, Opal (Ed) Park.  

Grace was born August 11, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Tina (Wiese) Van Antwerp. She married Leo Schulte on January 13, 1942, he died in 1971. She then married Judson Daniels on December 23, 1975. He died in 1989. Grace worked as a sales clerk for The Giant Store in Cedar Rapids and was a member of St. Ludmila Catholic Church. She loved baseball, football, basketball and car racing.  Her favorite being the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls.
