Morris W. Hay, 85, passed away Wednesday, April 08, 2015 in Morris, Illinois. Born October 20, 1929 in Milford Township, Rockwood, Pennsylvania the son of the late James O. and Hazel Hay.
Survived by his wife Marcella Powell Hay, son Stephen L. (Jayme) Hay, Lexington, NE and daughter Heather (Jason) Moore, Morris, IL. He is also survived by sister Rose Marie Keichel of Kirkland, Ohio. There are also three beloved grandchildren, Clint Hay, Brookings, S.D. and Olivia and Dawson Moore of Morris, IL.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James B. Hay and Dean S. Hay, sister Lillian Kaufman and infant daughter Kristi E. Hay.
Morris was a veteran of the Air Force, having served in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was also a manager in Publications with Rockwell/Collins Radio. Morris was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Cremation will be accorded and there will be a Memorial Service at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday April 24, 2015 at 1 PM.
