Frank Richard Willis, 76, of Springville, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date.
Frank was born June 1, 1938 to Arthur and Virginia (nee Crist) Willis in Shell Rock, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Maxine Miller on March 11, 1985 in Cedar Rapids. He served in the US Army during Panama Canal Riots. He worked many years driving a concrete truck and earned the nickname “The Legend”. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed trivia and history.
He is survived by his wife Maxine Miller, six children; Tom, Nancy, Becky, Lynette, Trish, Barb, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Virginia Phillips.
