Memorial

Adeline F. Severin, age 87, of Keystone, Iowa died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Vinton Lutheran Home.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, August 23, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Keystone with Pastor Andrew Wright officiating.  Private family inurnment will take place at the Cedar Memorial Park Mausoleum.

A memorial has been established in Adeline’s name.

Adeline was born February 6, 1927 in Blairstown, Iowa to Eldo and Laura Schultz Ebert.  She was united in marriage to Richard H. Severin on August 25, 1946 in Blairstown.  She owned and operated Adeline’s Beauty Shop in Keystone until her retirement in 1985.

Adeline was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Bob Severin of Cedar Falls; Rick Severin of Atkins; Rod (Stephanie) Severin of Cedar Rapids; and Cindy (Doyle) Reinberg of Keystone; five grandchildren: Sara (Jeremy) Wenger; Ross, Valerie, and Shane Reinberg; and Chad Martin; great-grandson Kolby Wenger; and sisters-in-law Carol (Gerald) Tharp of Marion; Marge Severin of Keystone; Lela Severin of Keystone; and Phyllis Ebert of Vinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006; her parents; and her brothers and sisters: Wayne, Esther, Laurel, Don, and Lauretta.
