Carl Williams, died Friday December 26, 2014 at his home.
Service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. Alan Paris will officiate at the service. Entombment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00pm Monday December 29, 2014.
Survivors include his, four sons, , Rick Williams of Marion and Jim (Sara) Williams of Florida, Daniel (Robbin) Pierce and Mark Pierce all of Cedar Rapids, two daughters, Judy Williams of Cedar Rapids and Carla Heath of Cedar Rapids; He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Ruth Ann Williams of Melbourne, FL and Sandy (Ed) Lunkley of New London; brothers Kenny (Pat) Williams, Jerry (Linda) Williams both of Ottumwa, IA. And Donald (Doris) Williams of Cascade, IA He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Carol (2008); 2 brothers Clint and Clifford.
Carl was born April 14, 1938 in Keosauqua, Iowa. He was the son of James and Silvia Williams. On May 2, 1986 Carl and Carol Van Houten were united in marriage in Central City, Iowa. Carl worked for the Cedar Rapids School System as a Custodian.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by those closest to him.
