William L. Pobuda, 74 a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab died on
Tuesday April 1, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital. Services will be held at a later date.
Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters, Lou Anne (Jim) Stewart of Cedar Rapids and Dianne Pobuda of New York City. He is also survived by a nephew Andrew Pobuda, a niece Kristine Worthington and a great niece Calista Worthington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Shiela Berry.
Bill was born on September 29, 1939 in Cedar Rapids the son of Lumir and Ruby Neff Pobuda. He was an associate at HyVee, a bell ringer for the Salvation Army, and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Bill was proud of his Czech heritage. He played the accordion, harmonica and key board. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
