Robert Kim Schultz, 43, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday April 12, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Services: 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, where a visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his daughter, Mikayla J. Smith of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a brother, Chris Schultz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and his mother, Hee Kyong Kim of New York, New York. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory R. Schultz.
Robert was born February 13, 1971 in Seoul, Korea, the son of Gregory and Hee Kyong Kim. He was employed with Sbarro in Cedar Rapids for 23 years and was known to many as “Pizza Bob”. He loved sports, playing darts, watching movies and had a great sense of humor. He was a caring and loving soul, always helping many in need. Robert was a friend to everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all. “Out there, amongst the stars, He will be free”.
