Memorial

Allison R. Pratt, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday April 23, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church where a visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. The Rev. Dennis H. Calhill will officiate. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Inurnment: Private at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothy J. Pratt and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Pratt.   

Allison was born on August 27, 1922 in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Ray and Alta (Curtis) Pratt. He married Dorothy J. Wood on September 10, 1951 in Walker, Iowa. Allison was a carpenter. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed golf, fishing and served in the Army during World War II. 

A memorial fund has been established.
